Introduction

This document gives recommendations on how to use HCP Terraform at scale as a shared service for your organization.

When we talk about scaling Terraform, we are referring from the maturity standpoint where the platform team has established Terraform as a shared service across the organization and has streamlined the workflows for company wide adoption. This document doesn't cover "scaling" from the infrastructure standpoint (self hosted TFE) and those topics will be covered separately.
